\u2018My Nature Diary\u2019 combines beach \/ mountain cleanup, citizen science* and environmental education. Through every cleanup event, participants can learn about the concrete issues of marine and mountain debris. The project aims to allow actual participation in beach \/ mountain cleanups, foster understanding in the global problem of plastic pollution through environmental education, record the amount and types of garbage through citizen science, as well as establish a database on Hong Kong\u2019s marine and mountain debris. Data generated will form the basis of future environmental education, academic research and ultimately, the enactment and implementation of environmental protection policies.<\/p>\n

\u65bc2012\u5e74\u56e0\u98b1\u98a8\u5439\u8972\u800c\u767c\u751f\u7684\u81a0\u7c92\u6563\u843d\u65bc\u9999\u6e2f\u6c34\u57df\u7684\u4e8b\u4ef6\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u5f15\u8d77\u5f88\u5927\u7684\u8ff4\u97ff\uff0c\u8a31\u591a\u7fa9\u5de5\u53ca\u7d44\u7e54\u767c\u8d77\u6e05\u7406\u6d77\u5cb8\u81a0\u7c92\u7684\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u800c\u751f\u614b\u5df4\u58eb\u4ea6\u662f\u5176\u4e2d\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u96d6\u7136\u751f\u614b\u5df4\u58eb\u904e\u5f80\u90fd\u6709\u6e05\u6f54\u6d77\u7058\u7684\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u5011\u4e3b\u8981\u900f\u904e\u53c3\u89c0\u6d77\u5cb8\u516c\u5712\u548c\u6d6e\u6f5b\u6d3b\u52d5\u63a8\u5ee3\u6d77\u6d0b\u751f\u614b\u4fdd\u80b2\u3002\u5728\u4e0d\u4e45\u7684\u5c07\u4f86\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6703\u5c08\u6ce8\u65bc\u6d77\u7058\u6e05\u6f54\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u4e26\u6703\u65bc\u672c\u6e2f\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u6d77\u7058\u8209\u884c\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u7684\u6e05\u6f54\u6d3b\u52d5\u3002<\/p>\n

The plastic pellet spill incident in 2012 has aroused a wide concern among many Hong Kong people. A lot of volunteers and groups initiated a number of shoreline clean-ups and ecobus was one of them!<\/p>\n

Despite having beach clean-up events prior to the incident, ecobus had put much effort on educational activities such as field visits to marine parks and snorkelling to promote marine conservation. In the near future, we will also focus on beach cleaning and organize a number of beach clean-ups in different beaches in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
